Flower From ChipsBox

today i wish to try something from an empty ChipsBox ...a simple way of recycling...with simple materials...and here we go..
Materials: ChipsBox --> empty Paper cup Duct tape , crafting tape glue sticks, embellishments scissors
Method: Steps: First i just cut along the chips box and paper cup into strips... then i covered chips box with Duct tape and paper cup with Crafting tape. now i decorated with the embellishments as desired... we can just leave the chips box as such or can make a center piece for that...here i have glued the paper cup covered with crafting tape..and thats it...
hope you all like it...:) #Tips# : can form many such layers with smaller size paper cups for filling up the center... can be wall mounted or can use it as candle stand... like to share my work: MakeItMonday#98 --> "Anything Goes" Jackson's Digital Expressions --> #15 "Anything goes"

washi-Tape-CandleStand

Today i tried a candle stand using old plastic items... i wish to give this for my next door (neighbor) aunt's mom...we all call by her name Mrs.LEE. a Japanese lady who will turn 86 by next month... she is fond of candles.... so i thought of making a candle stand... which will be very useful for her...i have tried this with three different products (i have snapped all the pictures with and without flash mode ..to avoid more blurred pictures...)
Materials: some patterned washi Tape...(any desired pattern) empty ice cream cup empty powder tub waste cd tape scissors organza ribbon , pearls , flower for decoration
Method: Step1: first i wish to cover the empty plastic powder tub...with the washi tape. all materials got from local store and they also gave me self adhesive tapes...wow... made the sticking process quite easy...rather than turning it out messy.i wish to have this as the base for the candle stand...
the material is a mixture of canvas and polyester paper.. the reason i tried this kind of paper is , it will provide the perfect grip without getting lose een when the hand is bit wet due to sweet . also , having a steady thought about aunty's age, i felt that she can hold it by her own...
Step2: Now i covered the cd with a self printed crafting paper tape...
then i decorated with organza ribbon ...and wish to attach a big glittering flower for the base part rather than decorating it with lots of pearls ...and gem stones..
Step3: Now comes the top portion...i have covered the plastic ice cream cup using shimmering washi tape...being a self adhesive tape this also helps in good coverage with high tone of shimmering effect..and decorated with pearl stickers...since the texture of the tape is of double sided pattern i have got the silver shimmering effect inwards also...this gives the bright illuminating reflection with the help of the candle light...
Finally i placed a candle ...
hope my aunty likes it, as she always likes my other craft works...:) #Tips#: can decorate with gemstone gives good effect... can try with long candles also like to share with my friends... joyfulstamper --> "Anything goes" That craft place--> "Anything goes" Creatalicious Challenges --> "Anything goes" My Mum's Craft Shop Challenge --> "No Cards Allowed" ABC Christmas challenges --> "N for Not a Card" DreamvalleyChallenge --> "Anything But Square" Jackson's Digital expressions --> #15 "Anything goes"

Flower Using Maple leaf punch

Here i wish to try a flower as a whole using Maple Leaf Punch i like to call it as snowflake flower or fringed flower...:)
Materials: Leaf Punch --> Maple Leaf Color sheets of any desire color --> here i tried with Basic cream, Lavender for flowers and green for leaves and fringe making papers... glue Stick
Method: Since i used other basic colors for flowers i like to call the leaf pattern other than green color as "Petals" itself. here i have Punched 10 petals for the first outer layer... Apart from the Leaf's Stem (Petiole) i wish to glue one side out of the 3 corners of the leaf (Blade)part with another one out of 3 corners of leaf. Now this acts as one Petal
Likewise i glued all the 10 Leaf patterns into 5 petals...
Then i punched the leaves using green color sheet... and glued 5 leafs around the first layer of petals..in such a way it stays in between the fringes.or in other words every alternate petals
Then i cut a small round and glued back side of that flower pattern so as to cover the center part...
Now i wish to attach a fringe like pollens rather than just filling glitters or rein stones...or pearls or buttons...
...and here it is ... my fringed flower or snowflake flower.hope all my friends like it.. #Tips#: can add glitters, pearls, stickers, rein stones, etc as a part of detailing...

Flowers using Leaf Punch

Here i wish to try with leaf punch as a whole of making flower along with leaves...
Materials: Leaf Punch color sheets of any desire color hre i tried with yellow for flowers and green for leaves Glue stick
Method: First i cut the circle and used it as a base for my flower..since the flower seems flat ..the width of the circle decides the number of first base layered petals... here , even for petals i have have tried the same leaf punch around 10 petals for small flower and 13-15 petals to make flower just bigger in size compared to the previous flower..size...its all one's own desire... hre i used two different sizes.. For detailing the petals i just made a mild fold towards its sharp corners alone.
For the next inner layer i cut 6 petals using leaf punch and then folded into half so as to get the feel that the inner layers are raised from the outer layer.
finally i punched leaves and attached . its done... hope all my friends also like it. #Tips#: can use glitters, rein stones etc...to add more details to the petals...

Flower using Small Heart Punch

As we all feeling alike that every single flower in this whole world is unique by its own nature, texture and color combinations... i'm so happy that flowers as a part of craft..will be acknowledged by all craft lovers.... irrespective of its pattern..:) here i wish to try with Small Heart punch to make these flowers Well i must tell, that this is the first punch craft flower using heart punch , which i learned from my very good friend DR.Sonia.Like to thank her a lot.In her blog she gives very clear and excellent explanations... Pls have a look my dear friends... Now let me share my craft...the flower which i tried.. the happiness is endless when we try it for our self... Materials: Small Heart Punch color sheets any desire color here i used Pastel peach glue stick
Method: here first i cut the base circle "C". then i punched heart punch 5 numbers ...as i have arranged in the picture, i have glued the circle "C" and covered it by sticking the hearts above that i tried in framing another layer where in the hearts are half-folded and looks flat... now i punched hearts in 10 numbers..then i folded in half... as i learned in that tutorial...and started sticking it on the unfolded layer of hearts...finally finished by attaching the leaves. its done and here it is...
